SVP Business Development - EMEA at 47 Degrees

Amar Patel has a wealth of experience in business development, product strategy, and consulting. Amar began their career in 1999 as a Technical Analyst and Fund Manager at Titan Capital Management Ltd. In 2000, they joined Intershop Communications as a Pre-Sales Consultant. Amar then became a Management Consultant for Pentacle The Virtual Business School in 2003 and Better Energy Systems in the same year. In 2004, they were a Business Director on a contract basis for GaiaSphere. From 2005 to 2007, they were an Account Manager and Consultant for Content and Code. Amar then joined Sitecore in 2008 as a Senior Technology Partner Manager and Business Development Manager. In 2014, they moved to Cognifide, a WPP company, as a Business Director and Head of Product Strategy and Alliances. In 2017, they joined 47 Degrees as SVP Business Development - EMEA and then VP Business Development - EMEA.

Amar Patel began their educational journey in 1985 when they attended City of London School. During their time there, they studied Mathematics (A), Physics (B) and Chemistry (B). From 1993 to 1996, they attended UCL and obtained a BSc in Computer Science with Cognitive Science. In 2001, they completed their education with a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Greenwich in Business Administration and Management. In addition to their formal education, Amar Patel has obtained several certifications, including Reactive Architecture: Introduction to Reactive Systems from Cognitive Class in 2018, Data Science in Real Life from Coursera in 2017, Executive Data Science Specialization from Coursera in 2017, CPB100 - Google Cloud Fundamentals: Big Data & Machine Learning from ROI Training in 2017, Managing Data Analysis from Coursera in 2017, A Crash Course in Data Science from Coursera in 2017, Building a Data Science Team from Coursera in 2017, and Scotwork Advancing Negotiation Skills from Scotwork.
