Jason McClellan has a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Film & Media Concentrated Humanities from Arizona State University, which they obtained between 1998 and 2002. In 2006 and 2007, they obtained a Professional Certificate in Digital & Graphic Design Technologies from New York University. In 2018, they obtained a Graduate Certificate in Digital Audience Strategy from Arizona State University - Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication.
