Hongchang Bao

Hongchang (Gary) Bao is a Machine Learning Specialist at 48Hour Discovery INC. since July 2022, with a comprehensive background in natural language processing gained during a Master's degree in Computer Science at the University of Alberta. Prior experience includes serving as a Graduate Research Assistant focused on NLP and machine learning, contributing to algorithm development, data extraction, and literature research. Additionally, Gary has held roles such as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the University of New Brunswick, where responsibilities included algorithm development and personality analysis. Previous experience includes technical consulting at PCCW Solutions Limited, leading ERP projects and optimizing PL/SQL programs. Gary holds a Master's degree in Business Administration with a focus on Accounting and Finance from the University of International Business and Economics.
