Cristina Favento has a long and varied work history. In 2006, they began their career as a Food Journalist for Bacco Arianna Editore, and also worked as a Web Content Editor for Fucinemute.it. In 2013, they began working as a Cultural and Travel Journalist for Il Piccolo, quotidiano, and was also a Main Contributor for the food and wine column "Sapori" for the daily newspaper "Il Piccolo". Additionally, they were a Travel Blogger for the blog "Girandola Errante". In 2014, they were a Guest Lecturer for Università di Sassari, DiSea. From 2013 to 2018, they worked as a Lecturer for ITMA - Master in International Tourism Managment and Analysis, and was also a Communication Advisor and Guest Lecturer for Università degli Studi di Trieste. Cristina Favento has a Communication Science degree from the Università degli Studi di Trieste, which they obtained between 1997 and 2003. Cristina also completed a Master's Degree in Environmental Science and Human Resources from Alta Scuola per l'Ambiente, Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore between 2010 and 2011. In 2011-2012, they attended Laura Lepri Scritture to study Creative Writing. In addition, they obtained a Tour Guide certification from the International licence in July 2013 and a Padi Open Water Diver certification from Splash Dive Center, Placencia, Belize in November 2012.
