Mats Severin

Mats Severin has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Mats'smost recent position was as a Data and Analytics Consultant at 4C Strategies, starting in February 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Ometis Limited as a Business Intelligence Consultant from March 2020 to January 2023. In this role, Mats was responsible for pre-sales, customer success management, Qlik app development, lead consulting, training, and blog post authoring. Mats also consulted on the entire Qlik platform. Before joining Ometis Limited, Mats worked at Exsitec as a Business Intelligence Consultant from August 2017 to February 2020, where they focused on consulting Qlik's product portfolio, including QlikView, Qlik Sense, and NPrinting. Mats was involved in various aspects of implementation projects as well as providing support and maintenance to existing client applications. From August 2015 to July 2017, Mats worked at Qlik as a Sales Operations Analyst, providing sales support in the EMEA region. Mats'sresponsibilities included working with the CRM system, building reports and dashboards, supporting the quote-to-order process, training sales reps, and conducting sales compensation reviews. Prior to that, they worked at CGI, first as a Sales Analyst from September 2013 to November 2014, where they handled sales analysis, support, budgeting, and CRM system maintenance. Mats was also involved in a Business Intelligence implementation project. Mats then worked as a Business Analyst from September 2012 to August 2013, specializing in meter data management and hourly settlement in electric power distribution for clients in the Energy & Utilities sector. Mats started their professional career as a Marketing and Sales Trainee at in4mo Oy in 2011, specializing in software as a service (SaaS) solutions for the insurance industry. Mats also worked as an Accounting Assistant at Lidl Sverige KB from June 2008 to May 2010. Mats began their career in the Swedish Armed Forces, where they served as a Sergeant of a battery squad at the Artillery regiment A9 from June 2004 to April 2005.

Mats Severin completed their education with a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Business and Management from Uppsala University, where they studied from 2010 to 2012. During their time at Uppsala University, they also participated in a Student Exchange Program at NUCB Business School in 2011, focusing on Business Studies and Japanese. Prior to their Master's degree, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Business and Economics from Uppsala University, where they studied from 2007 to 2010. In 2009, Mats took part in a Student Exchange Program at the National University of Singapore, concentrating on Business Studies. Apart from their academic achievements, they have obtained additional certifications as a Qlik Sense Data Architect from Qlik in August 2021 and as a Qlik Sense Business Analyst from the same institution in August 2020.
