Paul Mata has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in different companies. Paul started their career in 2002 as a Group Supervisor on the USS Nassau. From 2006 to 2009, they worked as an Instructor and Course Supervisor at the Center for Naval Engineering, where they instructed and supervised courses on chemical treatment for boilers. At the USS Abraham Lincoln from 2009 to 2013, Paul served as an Assistant Ship's Maintenance Manager, overseeing maintenance and repairs. Paul then took on the role of Auxiliaries Technical Assistant, leading operations and maintenance of auxiliary systems. In 2013, they joined Newport News Shipbuilding as a Construction Supervisor, coordinating and supervising ship construction projects. In 2014, Paul became a Senior Naval Subject Matter Expert at Cubic Corporation, where they contributed to the development of courseware and provided technical expertise. Paul later held roles as a Senior Technical Producer and Technical Production Manager at Cubic Corporation. In 2019, Paul joined MAK Technologies as a Product Owner and then became a Product Operations Manager. Their most recent position, starting in 2021, is as a Product Manager at 4C Strategies. Overall, Paul has demonstrated strong project management, technical expertise, and leadership skills throughout their career.
Paul Mata attended Excelsior University in 2007 and Central Texas College in 2006.
