Anthony Agyekum Mensah

Anthony Agyekum Mensah has worked for several companies in various roles over the years. Anthony started their career in 2009 as a National Service Personnel at AngloGold Ashanti, after which they joined mPawa where they co-founded the company, and worked as a Product Development Lead responsible for all product development tasks. Anthony then worked at Hubtel as a Software Engineer and later moved to expressPay Ghana Limited, where they were a Senior Software Engineer. Anthony then joined mPharma as a UI/UX Designer and helped launch a POS system for pharmacies that increased accessibility and adoption among visually impaired individuals. Anthony later joined GeoSolutions as an Open Source Frontend Developer and moved to MarketForce as a Senior Frontend Developer. Currently, they work at 4Degrees as a Software Engineer responsible for web app features development and maintenance, mobile app features development, and Chrome extension maintenance.

Anthony Agyekum Mensah obtained a BSc in Mechanical Engineering from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Kumasi between 2005 and 2009. Anthony then attended MEST Africa from 2010 to 2012, where they pursued a degree in Software Entrepreneurship. In terms of additional certifications, they obtained 1 Mentorship Sessions from adplist.org in December 2022, Digital Product Management: Modern Fundamentals from Coursera in November 2022, and Programmable Logic Controllers from AngloGold Ashanti, although the exact period of certification is unknown.
