John Prothero

John Prothero has work experience in the field of software engineering and web development. John started their career as a Junior Web Developer Intern at ROC IT Solutions in January 2017, where they worked on weekly sprints and utilized technologies such as Javascript, HTML, MySQL, and Java. From May 2017 to May 2018, they worked as a UX/Web Developer at Pavilion Gift Company, where they maintained and expanded CMS and other company IT systems. John also implemented Elasticsearch backend to the company website and prototyped machine learning systems. Since July 2018, John has been working as a Machine Learning Software Engineer at 4DV Analytics, where they are involved in developing and implementing machine learning algorithms and software.

John Prothero earned their Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from SUNY Brockport, which they attended from 2014 to 2016. Prior to that, they obtained an Associate's Degree in Game Programming and Design from Finger Lakes Community College, where they studied from 2011 to 2013. Currently, John is pursuing a Master of Science (MS) in Computer Science from the Georgia Institute of Technology, which they commenced in 2022.
