Edgar Cortés Olmedo

Edgar Cortés Olmedo has a diverse work experience in accounting roles. Edgar started their career at Saint-Gobain México, where they were responsible for bookkeeping and participated in process improvement initiatives. Edgar then worked at CEVA SALUD ANIMAL, where they were primarily responsible for tax obligations and fixed asset processes. After that, they joined Veritas Technologies LLC as a Senior Accountant, where they led the implementation of accounts payable processes in two countries and ensured compliance with corporate policies. Edgar also worked at Symantec as a GL Accountant, where their responsibilities included generating annual closing balances, accounting reconciliations, and support for tax calculations. Currently, they hold the position of Lead Accountant at 4finance, a digital finance company.

Edgar Cortés Olmedo completed a degree in Licenciatura en Contaduría Pública from Universidad Autónoma del Estado de Morelos between the years 2000 and 2005.
