Tim Putman

Tim Putman has over 30 years of work experience in the mental health and social services field. Tim began their career in 1986 as a Youth Minister at First Baptist Church. From 1987-1995, they worked as a Program Manager at MHMR of Tarrant County, a Psychological Specialist at the Florida Department of Corrections, and a Christian Counselor at The Christian Counseling Center. In 1995, they joined Anchorage Childrens Home as an Associate Director and held various roles until 2006. In 2006, they became a Development Officer at Florida Baptist Children's Homes before joining Children's Home Society of Florida in 2011 as the Executive Director. In 2017, they joined 4KIDS as the Vice President - Prevention and QA/QI and Director - Treasure Coast.

Tim Putman obtained a Bachelor's of Science in Psychology from Texas A&M University in 1987. Tim then attended Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, where they earned a MA in Marriage and Family Counseling and a Master of Arts in Religious Education in 1990. In 1996, Tim obtained a Licensed Mental Health Counselor from the State of Florida, and in 1998 they became an Approved Supervisor for LMHC. Most recently, in 2020, they became a Trust-based Relational Intervention Practitioner from the Karyn Purvis Institute of Child Development at TCU.
