Jay Cassano is an accomplished media executive with extensive experience in leadership and growth strategy within the digital media and journalism sectors. As Co-Founder and CEO of 4Labs Digital since December 2023, Cassano previously served as Chief Growth Officer at Wachsman and as Chief Executive Officer at Cointelegraph from August 2019 to September 2022. During tenure at Cointelegraph, significant achievements included transforming the company’s financial status without layoffs, launching multiple innovative products and services, and earning a spot on Forbes' "America's Best Startup Employers" list for two consecutive years. Cassano's earlier roles include Editor-in-Chief of Cointelegraph, where leadership led to the outlet becoming the most widely read in the crypto space, and various journalism and editorial positions at notable organizations such as Fast Company and the Data & Society Research Institute.
