Ryan Wood

Ryan Wood, CPA has over 17 years of work experience. Ryan is currently serving as the Chief Financial Officer at 4Life Research since January 2023. Prior to this role, they worked as the Chief Financial Officer at Helo Corp from March 2022 to January 2023. As the CFO, Ryan led the improvement strategy for assets with a market cap of 250MM and designed financial models to provide recommendations to the CEO. Ryan also collaborated with Investment Bankers for IPO strategy and presentation deck.

Before joining Helo Corp, Ryan worked at Nu Skin Enterprises for 15 years, where they held multiple roles. Ryan served as the Vice President of Global Financial Planning and Analysis from August 2017 to March 2022. During this time, they managed all corporate functions and 48 markets, resulting in over 50% company growth and adding more than $1 billion of revenue in one year. Prior to this role, they were the Director of Global Financial Planning and Analysis from February 2014 to August 2017, leading financial planning and analysis for a $2 billion dollar corporation. Ryan also held the position of Director of Financial Planning and Analysis from January 2010 to December 2014, where they implemented management reporting tools and founded the FP&A organization for Nu Skin. Ryan started their journey at Nu Skin as an Assistant Corporate Controller from May 2007 to December 2009, where they led a team of 4 accountants and enhanced the close process for intercompany accounts.

Ryan also worked at Basic Research as the Director of External Reporting from November 2006 to May 2007, where they upgraded the financial system and prepared financial statements for consolidated entities. Before that, they started their career at KPMG LLP as a Senior Audit Associate from August 2004 to November 2006.

Ryan Wood, CPA holds a Master's degree in Professional Accountancy from Brigham Young University. Ryan also received a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and Finance from the same university. Additionally, they are a Certified Public Accountant certified by the Utah Division of Occupational and Professional Licensing.
