Ruben Hartog

Ruben Hartog has had a varied work experience. Ruben began their career in 2005 as an Employee for Candyworld BV, where they were responsible for baking the Dutch treat 'poffertjes' in Artis (Amsterdam Zoo), helping customers and serving them. Ruben was later responsible for opening/closing some locations. In 2010, they moved to inFlow Solutions BV, where they worked as an Application Developer. In 2012, they started working at Finalist as a Software Engineer, and also took on an Intern role, where they conducted Bug prediction research and submitted their final work to the 35th International Conference on Software Engineering (ICSE 2013). In 2016, they moved to Zilverline, where they worked as a Software Engineer. Finally, in 2022, they began working at 4me as a Senior Software Engineer.

Ruben Hartog obtained their VWO from Da Vinci College in 2007. Ruben then attended Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (VU Amsterdam) from 2008 to 2010 where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science. Ruben continued their studies at VU Amsterdam from 2010 to 2012 and earned a Master's degree in Software Engineering. In 2017, they obtained a Certified Scrum Master from the Scrum Alliance. In 2020, they obtained a Certified Solutions Architect Associate and a Certified Cloud Practitioner from Amazon Web Services (AWS). Ruben also holds a Sun Certified Java Programmer from Oracle.
