Sourish Kundu

Sourish Kundu is a seasoned financial professional currently serving as Technical Director for the Middle East & India at 4most since December 2023. Previously, Sourish held the position of Director and Group Head of Model Risk Management at Equity Bank Limited, where responsibilities included developing comprehensive model risk management frameworks, establishing risk appetites, and leading an independent model validation team. With extensive experience in model development, Sourish increased accuracy in credit loss estimation significantly during tenure at HSBC as Vice President and Lead AVP, where contributions included leading the methodology team for IFRS9 and CCAR models. Earlier roles include positions at FICO, American Express, Barclays, and GE Money, contributing to Basel model development and other critical risk methodologies. Sourish holds an M.Sc in Statistics from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur.
