Alan Rice is a strategic leader and co-founder of 4Spire, currently focused on buying and operating niche software and tech-enabled service businesses. With extensive experience in the financial sector, Alan previously served as a Vice President at Ares Management, where they led direct investments in a variety of sectors including software and healthcare. Alan began their career at Wells Fargo Securities as an Investment Banking Analyst, specializing in leveraged finance. They graduated summa cum laude with a BA in Economics from Hampden-Sydney College and have engaged in several study abroad programs in Barcelona, Spain. Outside of work, Alan enjoys cycling, following Formula 1, and exploring world cuisines.
