Patrick Lor

Patrick Lor is a seasoned venture capital professional currently serving as the Managing Partner at Panache Ventures since September 2017, focusing on pre-seed and seed stage investments with operations across major Canadian cities. In addition, Lor holds the position of Managing Partner for Canada at 500 Startups, a $30 million fund dedicated to early-stage ventures, since July 2016. Prior to these roles, Lor co-founded and served as CEO of Dissolve.com from June 2013 to May 2016, and was an Entrepreneur in Residence at iNovia Capital in early 2013. Lor's extensive background in leadership includes roles such as President of North America at Fotolia.com and Executive Vice President and Director at iStockphoto.com. Educational qualifications include an MBA in Business and a BA in Sociology, both from the University of Calgary.
