Christina Funke Tegbe has a diverse work experience, spanning across various industries and roles. In 2011, they interned as a Project Intern at Memorial Hermann Healthcare System-Six Sigma Department, followed by a Program Assistant Intern role at Prevent Blindness Texas. In 2012, they joined Cumberland Consulting Group as a Senior Consultant, where they worked closely with senior management and key stakeholders on projects related to electronic medical records and system consolidation. Christina Funke also served as a Consultant, implementing the Epic Resolute Hospital Billing solution for a 900-bed hospital.

In 2015, Christina founded COT Industries, a portfolio of local service-based businesses in Texas that utilize technology to provide on-demand services to businesses and residents. In 2016, they founded 54 Thrones, a company that celebrates and promotes African beauty rituals while creating sustainable economic opportunities for African cooperative partners.

In 2019, they founded AvailVA, a company that helps niche industry business owners outsource operational tasks to trained professionals, facilitating business scalability. In 2020, they co-founded ZiggyVA. Their work experience showcases their expertise in entrepreneurship, project management, strategic planning, vendor evaluation, system implementation, and change management.

Christina Funke Tegbe, MBA, MHA completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Business Law and Management at Tulane University - A.B. Freeman School of Business from 2003 to 2007. Later, they pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Masters Business Administration and Masters Healthcare Administration at the University of Houston-Clear Lake. In terms of additional certifications, they obtained the Cerner Revenue Cycle Management certification from Cerner Corporation in May 2014, the Allscripts EHR SuperUser certification from Allscripts in May 2013, and the Epic Resolute Hospital Billing certification from Epic in December 2012.
