Tosin Iyanda has a diverse range of work experiences in the field of Human Resources. Tosin is currently the Director of Recruitment and Engagement at 54gene since November 2021. Prior to this role, they worked as a Senior Human Resources Business Partner at the same company from May 2021 to November 2021.

Before joining 54gene, Tosin Iyanda held various positions at Jumia Group. Tosin started as an HR/Finance Senior Executive in February 2013 and was responsible for the startup of the online marketplace Kaymu.com.ng. Tosin then took on the role of Human Resources Coordinator, where they played a key role in expanding Kaymu to other cities in Nigeria and was involved in talent acquisition and team building. Tosin later became the Head of Human Resources and Talent Acquisition for Kaymu Africa, overseeing executive search, talent acquisition, and headhunting for managerial and executive positions across Africa. In their last role at Jumia Group, they served as a Human Resources Business Partner for Jumia Group Services, providing operational support in areas such as recruitment, HR policy, strategic planning, compensation and benefits, and performance management.

Prior to their time at Jumia Group, Tosin Iyanda worked as a Human Resources Executive Associate at SMART Advisory Limited, where they developed business relationships with clients such as Zenith Bank and Wema Bank. Tosin also had a brief role as a Managing Partner/Consultant at Purple-Blanche, a consulting company focused on business solutions. Earlier in their career, they served as an Administrative/HR Manager at Common Spaces Limited, overseeing administrative and operational procedures, personnel management, and coordination of HR, admin, and marketing functions.
