Michel Hartveld

Michel Hartveld is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in the petrochemical and service industries. Currently serving as CEO at 5àsec in Rio de Janeiro since March 1997, Michel has held pivotal roles such as Director at Instituto Brasileiro do Petroleo for two decades and President at Atofina Brasil from May 1998 to April 2002. Earlier in Michel’s career, significant contributions were made as Commercial Director at Petroquímica União and Vice President at Unipar. Academic credentials include a Master's degree in Chemical and Industrial Engineering from The Ohio State University, an MBA in Marketing from FGV - Fundação Getulio Vargas, and a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro.
