Laura Washington

Laura Washington has over 20 years of work experience. Laura is currently the Head of Legal, Governance, and Compliance at 5B since August 2021. Prior to this, they worked at nbn™ Australia for 11 years, starting in November 2010 as the General Manager, Legal Counsel - Sales & Communications and later becoming the General Counsel - Communications, IP & Commercial until June 2021. Before that, Laura was the Corporate Counsel at Pentland Brands from April 2008 to September 2010. Laura started their career as a Solicitor at Clayton Utz in July 1999 and worked there until April 2006. Laura also worked as an Associate at Olswang from April 2006 to April 2008.

Laura Washington obtained a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) and a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) from the University of Sydney between 1997 and 2002. Laura'sfield of study during this time was English literature.
