Alec van der Merwe is a skilled professional with extensive experience in project management and contract administration. Currently serving as a Project Manager and Contract Administrator at 5Point Projects since December 2021, Alec previously held the position of Contract Administrator at Woollam Constructions from September 2016 to December 2021. Early in the career, Alec gained valuable experience as an intern at Woollam Constructions and as a Cadet Attorney at Uys Matyeka Schwartz Attorneys, where responsibilities included drafting and interpreting legal documents, client communication, dispute resolution, and negotiation. Alec holds a Master of Construction Practice in Construction Management/Quantity Surveying from Bond University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Law from the University of Pretoria.
