Lex Rovner

CEO & Co-Founder at 64x Bio

Alexis Rovner is the current CEO and Co-Founder of 64x Bio. Prior to this, they were a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Wyss Institute for Biologically Inspired Engineering from January 2016 to July 2018, and at Harvard Medical School from April 2015 to July 2018. Her research has focused on expanding the functionalities of proteins and imparting genetic isolation to GMOs. As a graduate student at Yale University from August 2010 to February 2015, they worked in the laboratory of Farren Isaacs, where they changed the genetic code of E. coli. Alexis also worked as a Research Assistant at University of California, Berkeley from June 2008 to August 2010.

Alexis Rovner's educational career includes a Ph.D. in Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology from Yale University, a B.Sc. in Molecular Environmental Biology from the University of California, Berkeley, and an S18 from Y Combinator.
