Jaime Vega

Jaime Vega is a seasoned software engineering professional with extensive experience in application modernization and cloud technologies. Currently serving as Senior Director and Application Modernization Architect at 66degrees since January 2022, Jaime leads efforts to modernize legacy applications using Google Cloud Serverless technologies. Previous roles include Staff Engineer at Cloudbakers and Senior Director of Solutions Delivery at TrueBlue Outsourcing Solutions Group, where Jaime oversaw RPO services and managed the development of AWS-based solutions. With a career that spans multiple organizations including JPMorgan Chase, Life Quotes, Inc., and Lyra Technologies, Jaime has consistently contributed to high-quality software solutions while taking on leadership roles focused on design, architecture, and team management. Jaime holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
