Mike MacLane has over 20 years of experience in various roles within the sports marketing and media industry. Mike started their career in 1998 as an Account Executive for Miller Broadcasting, where they developed partnerships and branded local concert venues. From 2003 to 2004, they worked as an Account Executive for Clear Channel Radio, creating local advertising partnerships and marketing campaigns.
In 2004, Mike joined Dickey Broadcasting - 680 The Fan & Atlanta Thrashers Flagship as a Sports Marketing Executive, where they built strategic marketing partnerships and relationships for Atlanta's ESPN Radio affiliate. Mike then moved to Philips Arena Sports Marketing - Atlanta Hawks & Atlanta Thrashers in 2007 as a Manager - Corporate Partnerships, creating sports marketing partnerships and developing new business corporate partnerships.
From 2011 to 2012, Mike served as the VP of Marketing & Strategic Partnerships for Victory H2O, where they grew brand awareness, established strategic partnerships, and aligned the brand for a successful launch. Mike then joined Adcap Network Systems as a Business Development and Account Manager, where they applied their skills in IT infrastructure solutions and worked with Cisco Systems products.
In 2012, Mike joined CBS Radio as a Sports Marketing Partnerships specialist for 92.9 The Game. Mike then returned to Dickey Broadcasting Company in 2016 and held the role of Director of Sports Entertainment & New Media, responsible for leading a privately-owned sports media platform, including various sports radio networks.
Currently, Mike holds the position of Director - Sports Marketing & Integrated Media at Dickey Broadcasting Company, where they continue to contribute to the growth and success of the organization.
Mike MacLane has a BA in English from The University of Georgia, which they completed from 1993 to 1995. Before that, from 1991 to 1993, they attended Washington and Lee University for journalism studies, although they did not earn a degree. Mike completed their high school education at Marist School from 1985 to 1991, where they focused on liberal arts and athletics.
