Marekus Smith, CIPPE

Marekus Smith has been working in the CIPPE field since 2011. Theirfirst role was as a Free Safety for the Richmond Revolution in 2011. In 2012, they moved into an Inside Sales Representative role for Snehta. In 2013, they became a Customer Success Manager - Enterprise for CareerBuilder.com. In 2016, they were an Enterprise Sales - Relationship Manager, an Enterprise Relationship Manager - California, and a Small Business Relationship Manager for GreenSky. Later that same year, they became a Business Development Representative for N3. In 2019, they became a Major Account Executive for OneTrust. In 2021, they are currently a Strategic Partnerships / Account Executive for 6clicks and a Mid Market Account Executive for Twic.

Marekus Smith obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in IT, Business Administration, and Marketing from Union College (KY) in 2010. In January 2020, they earned the CIPP/E certification from the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP).
