Avik Sarkar

Avik Sarkar has a diverse work experience in the field of cloud computing and security. Avik is currently working as a Staff Security Engineer at 6sense since December 2022. Prior to this, Avik worked as a Solutions Consultant at Google from June 2022 to May 2023. In this role, they were responsible for proposing and designing solution architectures, managing cloud deployment, and creating data security designs.

Before joining Google, Avik worked as a Senior Cloud Security Architect at Automation Anywhere from April 2020 to April 2022. In this position, they played a key role in ensuring the security standards and tooling for AWS environments.

Prior to that, Avik worked at FICO as a Lead Engineer, Cloud Engineering from October 2019 to April 2020. In this role, they collaborated with security teams, ensured security requirements in AWS environments, and provided expert advice on migrating products securely.

Earlier in their career, Avik served as a Senior Associate Infrastructure L2 at Publicis Sapient from March 2019 to October 2019. Avik focused on architecting cloud design patterns, optimizing cloud migration strategies, and mentoring teams on Cloud/DevOps.

Avik also has experience as a Lead Cloud & Server Operations at Indus Net Technologies from August 2015 to February 2019. In this role, they managed server infrastructure operations, scaled servers, and supported various web services, applications, and clients.

Additionally, Avik has worked as a Senior Linux & Server Administrator at Corelynx Inc from February 2015 to August 2015, and as a System Administrator at ZYTRIX TECHNOLOGIES PRIVATE LIMITED from January 2012 to February 2015.
