Harsh Kohli has a diverse work experience spanning over several roles and companies. Harsh started their career as a Project Scientist at Bhaskaracharya Institute of Space Applications and Geo-Informatics (BISAG), where they worked on GIS software and web projects. In 2007, they joined OpenERP as an Application Engineer, leading a team working on Business Intelligence.
Harsh then moved to oCricket.com as a Python Techie, primarily working on Django and designing custom forms and widgets. After oCricket.com was acquired by Infinitely Beta, they continued working as a Python Techie, using Django for internal projects.
In 2010, Harsh joined Siminars as a Software Architect, where they played a key role in developing the product from scratch and transitioning it to an Asynchronous paradigm. Harsh was responsible for the front-end architecture, including a custom JavaScript framework and websocket communications.
From 2014 to 2015, Harsh served as the Chief Technology Officer at ProNoesis, before joining Screen Magic Mobile Media Pvt. Ltd. as a Senior Architect in 2016. In their role, they were responsible for architecture, DevOps, and building the technical team. Harsh designed and built Onehop, a SaaS product for marketplace, invoicing, and auto-procuring of phone numbers from providers across multiple countries, and also managed the technical team for the flagship product SMS Magic.
Currently, Harsh is working at 6sense as a Senior Engineering Manager. Harsh leads and manages the engineering team responsible for the Advertising vertical of the 6sense platform. Harsh also played a role in setting up the India office, including hiring the tech team and overseeing operations.
Harsh Kohli completed their Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Information Technology from Govt Engineering College Modasa, from the years 2002 to 2006. Prior to that, they pursued a Bachelor of Computer Application (BCA) from SSCCS, Bhavnagar, from 2001 to 2003. Harsh completed their Higher Secondary education in Science from Gurukul, Gandhinagar, spanning from 1999 to 2001. Harsh also attended J B Shah English Medium School Modasa for their Junior and Secondary education, although the specific years are not provided.
