Dave Strachan

Dave Strachan is the Vice President and Chief of Staff to 7-Eleven Chief Executive Officer, Joseph M. DePinto. Prior to his current role, Dave previously served as Senior Vice President, Fresh Foods, as well as Area Leader, Market Leader, Manager of Field Training, Zone Leader and Chief of Staff to Joseph for nearly five years after joining the organization in 2009. A former U.S. Army Officer, Dave has also been instrumental in 7-Eleven’s highly-successful veterans’ outreach and hiring programs.

Throughout his tenure with 7-Eleven, David has led several notable programs in areas that include our enterprise culture transformation, creating and launching the Brand Excellence Initiative, leading the Covid-19 Command Center, building and leading the 7-Eleven WIN COFFEE Team, and many others.

He holds a Bachelor of Arts in History and Government from Claremont McKenna College. Outside of work, David enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, working out, coaching kids’ sports and volunteering with his church. His family resides in the greater Dallas area.
