Audrey M. Holmes’ 35 plus years of professional expertise spans the fields of Education and Workforce Development, Employment Training and Non-profit Grant Management. Most recently, Audrey served as a Senior Program Manager/Consultant with the LA County Office of Diversion and Reentry and Director of Workforce Development with Homeboy Industries (until 2017). She has held the positions of Operating Officer of Community Center’s Inc., Vice President of Employment Programs for Beyond Shelter, and Vice President/Chief Operating Officer for the UAW-Labor Employment Training Corporation. Her operational responsibilities have included the development and oversight of numerous initiatives designed to enhance the training, retraining and job placement activities of programs funded by the Workforce Investment Boards for the Cities and Counties of Los Angeles, Long Beach, Riverside County, and Orange County. Additionally, she presided over a successful, “prisoner re-entry program” operated in the State of New Jersey funded by the New Jersey Department of Labor, utilizing the “On-the-Job-Training” model to assist recently released individuals in becoming gainfully employed. Audrey holds a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Education from the University of Southern California and a Masters of Public Administration(MPA) -Specializing in Grants Management from California State University-Long Beach.
