Jecca Powell

Jecca Powell is a skilled producer with extensive experience in documentary filmmaking. Currently serving as a Producer at 72 Films since June 2023, Jecca is involved in the project 'The State of Georgia vs. Donald J.' Previously held the role of Development Producer at Brook Lapping Productions Limited for 'Putin vs the West: At War' for BBC2, and produced the BAFTA-nominated 'Evacuation' for Channel 4 at Wonderhood Studios. Other notable projects include producing 'Leaving Afghanistan' for BBC2 and serving as Assistant Producer for 'The Decade the Rich Won' at the BBC. Jecca's career began as a Researcher and Assistant Producer at Brook Lapping Productions, contributing to the BAFTA-nominated 'Trump Takes on the World.' Leadership experience includes serving as the President and Head of News & Current Affairs at UBTV Station, along with the role of Online News Editor at Epigram. Jecca holds a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from the University of Bristol, earned between 2016 and 2019.
