Jeremy Wood

Jeremy Wood has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Jeremy started their career in 2002 as a Freelance Technology Consultant, providing technology consulting services until 2018. In 2007, they joined Swannanoa Valley Family Medicine / Aspire2Health as the Billing & IT Manager, a role they held until December 2018. Starting in December 2018, Jeremy worked as a Software Engineer at Aquent until June 2021. From January 2018 to August 2018, they also served as a Web Accessibility Intern at the City of Asheville. Currently, Jeremy is employed at 7Factor Software, initially starting as a Software Engineer in July 2021, and later advancing to the role of Staff Software Engineer in May 2023. Additionally, Jeremy has previous experience as a Minecraft Mod Developer for Open Source Software Development in 2011.

Jeremy Wood began their education at Asheville High School, where they obtained their high school diploma in the field of High School/Secondary Diplomas and Certificates in 2004. Jeremy then pursued further education at Collins College from 2006 to 2007, studying Game and Interactive Media Design. In 2013, Jeremy attended Asheville-Buncombe Technical Community College, where they obtained a Personal Computer and Network Maintenance Certificate in the field of Computer Engineering Technology/Technician. Jeremy continued their education at the same institution from 2015 to 2016 and earned an Associate's Degree. Jeremy furthered their studies at the University of North Carolina Asheville from 2016 to 2018, earning a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Computer Science.

In addition to their formal education, Jeremy also obtained certifications. In 2015, they obtained a Microsoft Office Specialist 2013 Master certification from Certiport - A Pearson VUE Business. Jeremy also obtained a Personal Computer and Network Maintenance Certificate from Asheville-Buncombe Technical Community College in the same year.
