Larry Scantlan has over 30 years of work experience. In 1992, they became the President and Owner of SCANCO Technologies, Inc. In 1991, they were a Licensed Real Estate Professional at ERA. From 2003 to 2006, they were the Director of Information Technology at Central Florida College, and from 2006 to 2012, they were the Manager Field Operations at U.S. Census Bureau. From 2012 to 2014, they were a Home Services Specialist at Bank of America. From 2014 to 2022, they were an Entertainer at Independent, Assisted and Memory Care Facilities. Currently, they are an Independent Sales Representative at MPGXtreme, as well as an Independent Business Owner (ETL-Executive Team Leader) at ACN.
Larry Scantlan obtained their Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Southwest Baptist University in 1978. In 1979, they attempted to pursue a Masters in Religious Education with Youth Emphasis at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, but did not complete the degree program. In 1985, they attended The University of Texas at Arlington and obtained a Master of Industrial Engineering. Larry also obtained an Amateur Radio Advanced Class License (KE0KZ) from the Federal Communications Commission in April 1986. From 2002 to 2004, they attended American InterContinental University and obtained a Master of Information Technology, Cyber Security. Larry also obtained an Advanced Class Amateur Radio Operator (NA4DX) from the Federal Communications Commission in January 2020.
