Lynne Mehley Eddis

Marketing Director, Content & Communications at 7 Mindsets

Lynne Mehley Eddis has a wealth of experience in the publishing industry, having worked for a variety of companies since 2000. Lynne began their career as an Editorial Associate for The Children's Book Council, where they managed editorial content for the website and newsletter, and coordinated with publishers and educational organizations on bibliographic projects. In 2006, they moved to Farrar, Straus and Giroux as a Marketing Associate, where they created marketing materials, wrote website content and marketing materials, and supported the Director of Marketing, Publicity Manager, and Co-Publisher of the Books for Young Readers division. In 2008, they joined Charlesbridge Publishing as an Editorial Assistant, providing administrative and editorial support to a 5-person editorial team. From 2009 to 2014, they were a District Partnership/RFP Coordinator at American Reading Company, where they edited/proofread reports, proposals, and marketing materials, and project managed the RFP process from writing through submission. From 2014 to 2019, they were a Marketing Communications Specialist at Catapult Learning, writing press releases and corporate communications, and creating web content and copy for new products. Most recently, they have been a Senior Marketing Editor at Reading Plus since 2021, and will begin their role as Communications Manager at 7 Mindsets in 2022.

Lynne Mehley Eddis began their educational journey at Rutgers University, where they earned their B.A. in English Language and Literature, General between 1995 and 1997. Lynne then continued their studies at Fordham University, where they earned their Master of Science (M.S.) in Elementary Education in 2004.
