Searetha Smith-Collins

Searetha Smith-Collins has over 25 years of experience in the education field. Searetha began their career in 1995 as the Associate Superintendent of Instruction and Accountablity for Richmond City Public Schools. In 2002, they moved to Apple Computer, Inc. as the Manager of Urban Strategic Initiatives, where they developed and lobbied for the \"One-to-One\" laptop computing initiative in urban centers. In 2007, they transitioned to SpectrumK12 School Solutions as the Vice President of Education Strategist and Federal Initiatives, and then to Promethean, Inc. as a Senior Education Consultant. Searetha then joined VINCI Education as an Executive Consultant and Program Director in 2014. In 2017, they joined NAESP as a National Principals Resource Center Professional Faculty, and in 2018 they became the Chief Education Officer at Lü - Interactive Playground. Most recently, in 2020, they joined 7 Mindsets as the Chief Academic Officer.

Searetha Smith-Collins obtained their Ed.D. in Policy, Governance, and Administration from the University of Washington in 1991.
