Carsten Kengeter

Carsten Kengeter is a seasoned executive in the financial services sector with extensive experience in leadership roles. Currently serving as Chief Executive Officer at 7RIDGE since 2020, Kengeter focuses on investments in transformative technologies for financial services. Previously, Kengeter was a Partner at Circuitus Capital LLP until September 2022 and held the position of Chief Executive Officer at Deutsche Börse from 2014 to 2018. Additionally, Kengeter was a Visiting Assistant Professor in the Finance Department at The London School of Economics and Political Science from 2013 to 2018, and a Partner at HERMON CAPITAL LLP, specializing in technology investments. Earlier career highlights include leading UBS Investment Bank as Chair and CEO from 2008 to 2013, and serving as a Partner at Goldman Sachs in the European and APAC Securities Division from 1997 to 2008. Kengeter's career began at Barclays de Zoete Wedd as Associate Director in derivatives trading. Kengeter holds a Master of Science in Accounting and Finance from The London School of Economics and Political Science and dual Bachelor of Arts degrees in Economics from Middlesex University and Reutlingen University.
