Melody Powell

Melody (Meng) Powell currently serves as the Finance Manager at 8 Billion Trees, a position held since November 2018, where responsibilities include managing quarter-end reporting, forecasts, budgets, and overseeing direct reports handling ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll activities. Prior experience includes a role as Senior Tax Analyst at Wynn Las Vegas from August 2013 to January 2016, focusing on the preparation and review of Federal and State tax returns and managing fixed asset activities during Macau’s phase II construction. Melody also worked as a Sr. Accountant (Consolidation) at Broadcom from August 2011 to March 2013, performing account reconciliations and general ledger entries for international operations. Additionally, as a Tax Associate at BDO USA, LLP from January 2010 to August 2011, extensive tax compliance services were completed for numerous clients, with a strong emphasis on partnership tax returns. Melody holds a degree from UC Irvine, completed between 2007 and 2009.
