Yubo Ruan

Yubo Ruan is a seasoned entrepreneur and investor in the blockchain and DeFi sectors. As the founder of Parallel Finance since April 2021, Yubo leads a decentralized lending and staking protocol backed by prominent investors such as Sequoia and Coinbase Capital. Yubo has also contributed as a Solidity Engineer and investor at TrustToken since August 2018, playing a significant role in the development of governance and staking applications. In addition, Yubo is a Founding Partner at 8 Decimal Capital, an investment firm with over 40 portfolio companies, and holds various venture and investor roles across multiple firms, including Taihill Venture, Solana, and Polkadot. Yubo's extensive experience is complemented by a partnership at Skylight Investment, where strategic investments in high-tech companies were made. Currently on leave from Stanford University, where studies focused on Computer Science, Yubo continues to mentor startups and enhance their fundraising strategies.
