Esther Kamau

Esther N. K. is a Capital Management Analyst at 8 Rivers, a climate technology company focused on clean energy solutions, since June 2023. Esther also serves as an Advisor for The Takeoff Institute, supporting Fellows in skill development for their careers. Previously, at Edgewater Capital Partners, Esther held the position of Private Equity Senior Analyst, where evaluations of 17 deals, financial modeling, and participation in management presentations were key responsibilities. Prior experience includes roles as a Private Equity Analyst at Everstrong Capital and a Global Markets Sales & Trading Summer Analyst at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, alongside various internships and leadership roles at Gordon College. Esther holds a Master of Science in Quantitative Management: Finance and Business Analytics from Duke University's Fuqua School of Business and a Bachelor of Arts in Finance, summa cum laude, from Gordon College.
