Miles Palmer

Miles Palmer is the founder of 8 Rivers Capital. Miles has over 25 years of experience in business development and has worked on a variety of projects, including pulsed power, railguns, strategic defense, space interceptors, guided weapons, electric ships, and hypervelocity weapons. Miles was also nominated for astronaut duty while they were in the Air Force.

Miles Palmer achieved a BS in Electrical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Miles then went on to study Chemistry at UC San Diego, where they received their PhD. After that, they did a post-doctoral fellowship in Laser and Optical Engineering at the Air Force Research Laboratory. Finally, they returned to UC San Diego to complete a second PhD in Chemistry.
