Mike Zelkind

Mike Zelkind has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Mike is currently serving as the CEO of 80 Acres Farms, a vertical farming leader that provides pesticide-free fruits and vegetables to customers at affordable prices. In 2019, they became an Unreasonable Fellow at Unreasonable, an organization dedicated to supporting entrepreneurs solving social and environmental challenges. Mike Zelkind is also a Member of the Board of Directors at Cintrifuse, a position they have held since 2020. Additionally, they serve as a Member of the Board of Directors at Infinite Acres, a company focused on providing the best technology for indoor growing. In the past, Mike Zelkind served as a Member of the Board of Directors at BD Capital Partners LLC from 2014 to 2018. Mike also held executive positions such as President and CEO of Sager Creek Vegetable Company, President and COO of Sager Creek Vegetable Company, and SVP of Operations at AdvancePierre Foods. Mike has also been involved as a Member of the Board of Directors and an Angel Investor at Vigilistics, Inc. and Tech Coast Angels, respectively.

Mike Zelkind completed their undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering at the University of Minnesota from 1986 to 1990. Following this, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Emory University - Goizueta Business School, which they obtained from 1993 to 1996.
