Varud Gupta

Varud Gupta is a multifaceted professional with extensive experience in the fields of writing, education, and creative arts. Currently serving as a Teaching Artist at 826NYC/Brooklyn Superhero Supply Company since August 2021 and a Visiting Professor at the Indian Institute of Art and Design since September 2020, Varud also operates as a freelance writer since October 2015, contributing columns to Mint Lounge and narrative pieces to National Geographic, among other projects. Varud co-founded Resting Kitsch Face, managing the Originals vertical, and previously held the position of Strategy and Operations Analyst at Deloitte. Currently pursuing a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing at Columbia University, Varud has an academic background that includes a Bachelor's degree in Finance from NYU Stern School of Business and advanced studies in Math and Science from the Texas Academy of Math and Science.
