Itzik Goldwaser

Itzik Goldwaser is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in technology transfer and business development in the healthcare sector. Since April 2010, Itzik serves as the President and Chief Executive Officer of Yissum Technology Transfer Company of the Hebrew University, having held various leadership roles in the organization including Senior Vice President of Business Development and Alliance Management. In addition to this position, Itzik Goldwaser is a member of 8400 The Health Network and serves as Chairman of the Board at both Integra Holdings Ltd. and Racah Nano Venture Fund. Previously, Itzik was the CEO of MacroBea and the Founder, CEO, and President of Nasvax. Itzik's educational background includes a Ph.D. in Biochemistry from the Weizmann Institute of Science, a Master’s in Medicinal Science from Tel Aviv University, and a BSc in Chemistry from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, complemented by an executive program at the University of California, Irvine.

8400 The Health Network

On a mission to drive an Israeli economic growth engine in HealthTech and accelerate global cure, 8400 The Health Network is weaving a network of HealthTech ecosystem leaders, across silos and sectors, who learn together and create gap-closing projects that will propel a thriving HealthTech industry in Israel. The 8400 Fellowship runs annual cohorts of 60 senior Israeli leaders each, for an intensive 17 day program across 7 months. The program’s tailor-made curriculum is creating a continuous platform for breaking silos, peer learning and designing ecosystem growth initiatives. 8400 fellowship graduates join the 8400 Network.
