Annie Heckman

Annie Heckman is an Associate Translator at 84000: Translating the Words of the Buddha. With a background in art and education, Annie has experience as a Graduate Student at the University of Toronto, Owner and Director of StepSister Press, LLC, and as an Artist at various institutions including the Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago. Heckman has also worked as a Visiting Assistant Professor at DePaul University and as an Instructor at The Art Institute of Chicago. Annie's academic background includes a Master of Arts in Study of Religion from the University of Toronto, an MFA in Studio Art from New York University, and a BFA in Studio Art from the University of Illinois Chicago.
