Nam Nguyen

Nam Nguyen has a diverse work experience in computational biology and bioinformatics. They are currently serving as the Associate Director of Computational Biology at 858 Therapeutics since April 2023. Prior to that, they worked as a Principal Scientist in Computational Biology at Zentalis Pharmaceuticals from December 2021 to March 2023. Before joining Zentalis Pharmaceuticals, Nam held roles at Boundless Bio, including Principal Scientist in Bioinformatics from January 2021 to November 2021, and Senior Bioinformatics Scientist from October 2019 to January 2021. They also served as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of California San Diego from May 2016 to September 2019, and as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign from April 2014 to April 2016.

Nam Nguyen earned a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Computer Science from The University of Texas at Austin, completing their studies from 2008 to 2014.
