Cindy Hartsfield

Cindy Hartsfield has extensive experience in the medical field, with their most recent role being the Director of Medical Affairs at 89bio since July 2022. Prior to that, they worked as an Associate Director at 89bio from July 2021 to July 2022. Before joining 89bio, Cindy worked at Neurelis, Inc. as a Medical Science Liaison from January 2020 to June 2021. Cindy also has experience at Gilead Sciences, where they held various positions, including Principal Medical Scientist from January 2019 to January 2020 and Associate Director in the Medical Affairs divisions from 2009 to 2018. Cindy's earlier experience includes working as a Clinical Science Manager at Abbott Laboratories from 2007 to 2009 and as a Research Investigator at the Kaiser Permanente Center for Health Research from 2002 to 2007.

Cindy Hartsfield holds a PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the University of Kentucky.
