Michael T. is a versatile laboratory leader with over 18 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Currently serving as the Director of Quality Control at 89bio, Michael previously held the position of Associate Director of Quality Control at Sumitomo Pharma America, Inc., where responsibilities included managing quality programs and compliance with regulatory requirements. Prior to that, Michael was the Associate Director of Quality Control and Stability at Lonza, overseeing the Quality Control Laboratories and enhancing laboratory capacity. Michael holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Biology from the University of California, Berkeley.
