Shibao Feng

Shibao Feng has extensive work experience in the biostatistics and oncology field. Shibao is currently serving as the Head of Biometrics at 89bio since 2021. Prior to this role, they held positions at BeiGene as Senior Director of Statistics from 2020 to 2021 and Director of Biostatistics from 2017 to 2020. Before joining BeiGene, they worked at Amgen as the Senior Manager, Oprozomib Stat Lead from 2015 to 2017. Shibao also served as the Associate Director of Biostatistics at Onyx Pharmaceuticals from 2012 to 2015. Earlier in their career, they worked at Genentech as a Senior Statistical Scientist from 2010 to 2012 and as a Senior Biostatistician from 2006 to 2010. Prior to their industry roles, they were an Assistant Professor of Biostatistics and Oncology at Georgetown University from 2003 to 2006.

Shibao Feng completed a Master of Science degree in Mathematics from the University of New Orleans, from 1996 to 1998. Following that, they pursued a Ph.D. in Biostatistics at the University of Michigan, graduating in 2003.
