George Karmelich

George Karmelich currently serves as the Engineering Manager and Tech Lead at 8am, overseeing the engineering team of the MyCase Accounting product since April 2021. Previously, George held the roles of Software Engineer and Tech Lead for MyCase, a legal practice management platform acquired by AffiniPay in 2022. Prior experience includes serving as a Founding Engineer at Woodpecker, a document automation platform acquired by MyCase in 2021, and working as a Data Engineer at the HUB of Analytics Education. George's earlier career includes positions as a Senior Tax Associate and Tax Associate at BDO and Deloitte, as well as a Tax Associate at RoseMcKenna, PLLC. Academically, George completed a Master of Science in Computer Science and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, both from Northeastern University.
