Amit Vohra, PhD, MBA

Amit Vohra, PhD, MBA has over a decade of experience in the medical technology industry. Amit began their career in 2009 as a Partner at Advanced Biopharma Consulting, where they created and executed innovative and efficacious strategies for new business, developed market penetration strategies for life sciences companies in the emerging markets, and structured and negotiated technology transfer and licensing agreements.

In 2015, they became a Strategic Business Consultant and Advisor at Weinberg Medical Physics. Two years later, in 2017, they became a Strategic Advisor and Angel Investor at Fanisko, a fan engagement and analytics company. Amit then became an Executive Director and Advisor at TriOcula Technologies in 2016, and a Business Advisor at UnityDx in 2018.

In 2019, they were appointed to the West Coast Advisory Board Member at the University of Florida Herbert Wertheim College of Engineering, and became Co-Founder & Director at 8chili Inc. and Director at Navaux.

In 2020, Amit Vohra, PhD, MBA founded and became CEO of neuro42, and also serves as Founder, President & CEO of Promaxo, a medical technology company that develops and commercializes office-based modular MRI and MRI based technologies.

Amit Vohra earned a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Technology and Management Jobs in 1997-2001. Amit then went on to obtain a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Florida in 2001-2005. Finally, in 2014-2015, they completed an Executive MBA in Business Administration and Management, General from Duke University - The Fuqua School of Business.
