Assaf Dagan began their work experience in the field of technology in the year 2000, where they worked as a Developer and Consultant for SRL. During this time, they led various Enterprise Integration Solutions and developed reporting and analysis solutions using Java technologies.

In 2004, Dagan joined Mercury Interactive as a Java Software Developer. Assaf played a major role in the development of a web-based reporting framework that significantly reduced the time and effort required for reporting development.

Moving forward, Dagan joined HP Software in 2007, starting as an Advanced Analytics R&D Manager. In this role, they built a new development team for an internal start-up initiative focused on reducing IT operation costs through proactive anomaly detection in IT operational systems. Later, they became the Service Health & SLM R&D Manager, responsible for backbone applications on the BSM platform.

Dagan joined Capriza in 2012 as a Software Developer. During their tenure, they worked on Capriza's core engineering team, primarily focusing on Javascript development. Assaf led the development of Capriza's smart push notification service and played a crucial role in integrating Capriza with vendors like SAP, Oracle, and Salesforce.

In 2018, Dagan co-founded Qlarium (formerly known as Tiidan), an international trading payment security platform utilizing AI technology. The platform monitored supplier stability and performance and provided alerts to importers. Qlarium also offered sourcing, monitoring, and insurance services for payment to suppliers. The company was later acquired by DeltaCapita in early 2020.

Lastly, in 2020, Dagan co-founded 8fig, where they currently serve as the Co-Founder and CTO. 8fig offers tailor-fitted growth capital for e-commerce sellers, allowing them to keep 100% of their equity while accessing unlimited capital, a growth plan, and supply chain analytics.

Assaf Dagan pursued their undergraduate studies from 1999 to 2001 at Bar-Ilan University. During this period, they focused on Computer Science and earned a Bachelor of Computer Science degree.
